Summer School Free Meals

We are offering meal service during summer school from July 1 to July 26. We offer breakfast and lunch from our cafeterias to all our enrolled OUHSD students as well as any child 18 and under in the community. Although we offer to the community, most of our participants are our students. 

We are offering breakfast from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM and lunch 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM.

• RCHS

SUN Bucks A New Summer Food Program Coming in 2024!

Starting this summer, you can buy more food for your child with California SUN Bucks, also called Summer-EBT. SUN Bucks works just like CalFresh, but for the summer.

Children who qualify for free or reduced-price school meals through a school meal application or an Alternative Income Form, or get CalFresh, CalWORKs, or Medi-Cal, are automatically enrolled. You don't need to do anything to sign up. SUN Bucks provides $40 per month for food for June, July and August 2024 ($120 total)

Oxnard Library Free Lunch in July!

Join us for a free lunch during the month of July. All children, ages 1 to 18, can receive a free meal, Mondays through Thursdays, from July 1 to July 25 from 2:45-4 p.m. 

Rio School District Summer Meals

Under the Seamless Summer Option, Rio School District is offering breakfast and lunch at no charge to anyone 18 years & younger and for students not enrolled in Rio's Summer School Program. Participants must consume meals on site during time of meal service and must be accompanied by an adult. If you have any questions please contact Child Nutrition Department at (805)485-3111.
