Hueneme wins fitness award

Three Oxnard schools have been named front-runners in a statewide fitness competition organized by the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. McAuliffe, Fremont Intermediate and Hueneme High made the list of 30 schools throughout California selected for the award. They will receive $1,000 each.
