Hueneme, Villalpando have historic wins in PVL cross country finals

Hueneme High coach Pablo Gallegos had preached connecting with history. With a victory in the Pacific View League finals Thursday at College Park in Oxnard, that’s just what the Hueneme boys cross country team did. It is the first league title for the boys team since 1972.
