Thank you to all OUHSD students, educators, and administrators who attended the 2021 Equity Conference: Courageous Conversations, and the 30+ speakers who shared their knowledge and experiences. This year’s virtual conference, held on January 23rd, offered general panels on topics from social identity to allyship, and application-oriented student and faculty workshops sharing strategies for championing educational equity in everyday life.

This conference is a part of OUHSD’s ongoing effort to champion equitable school environments for all learners. We hope that all attendees left the conference with a greater understanding of the relevant diversity & inclusion issues in the education sphere, and with a reignited passion for passion for advancing equity continues beyond the conclusion of today’s conference.

We want to empower you to start courageous conversations about educational equity!
