Good evening, OUHSD families,

I hope everyone is safe and healthy as we close out the last few weeks of school and plan for the upcoming school year.  I am looking forward to our Class of 2020 celebrations!  We know everyone is wondering about the 2020-21 school year, so here is a progress report.

Fall Reopening of School

Our Learning Redesign Coalition of teachers, administrators and support staff have been meeting every Friday to plan for the reopening of school in the Fall.  As you know, we sent a Parent Survey which will close tomorrow at 8:00 p.m.  You can find a link to the survey in English and Spanish on our OUHSD website homepage and all the site website homepages.  We encourage you to complete the survey to make sure we get your input for the reopening of school.  We are using that input to help us plan.  Our coalition must also follow the CDC Guidelines for schools when planning to reopen school, which means we will be following strict safety protocols, including social distancing, the wearing of masks and deep-cleaning protocols.  At this point, we are still in the planning stages, which will likely continue through June.  Please stay tuned…

Summer School

Our Summer School Session begins July 6th through July 31st.  Please contact your counselor right away, if you have not already enrolled for summer school.

Summer Feeding Program

We will continue our weekly, Grab n’ Go feeding program through summer school.
