OUHSD seeks candidate to fill Bond Committee Vacancy at Oxnard Union High Schools.
Measure A was approved by OUHSD voters in June 2018. The Measure authorized the District to issue up to $350 million in general obligation bonds to build a new high school in Oxnard and renovate existing campuses.
One of the requirements to become a member of the Bond Oversight Committee is to reside within the district boundaries of one of OUHSD’s schools: Adolfo Camarillo, Adult School, Channel Islands, Condor Options Academy, Frontier, Hueneme, Oxnard, Oxnard Middle College, Pacifica, Rancho Campana and Rio Mesa. It is not necessary to be the parent of a student who attends any of them. The term lasts two years and members receive no compensation. Requests are available at www.oxnardunion.org.
