OUHSD seeks candidate to fill Bond Committee Vacancy at Oxnard Union High Schools.

Measure A was approved by OUHSD voters in June 2018.  The Measure authorized the District to issue up to $350 million in general obligation bonds to build a new high school in Oxnard and renovate existing campuses.

One of the requirements to become a member of the Bond Oversight Committee is to reside within the district boundaries of one of OUHSD’s schools: Adolfo Camarillo, Adult School, Channel Islands, Condor Options Academy, Frontier, Hueneme, Oxnard, Oxnard Middle College, Pacifica, Rancho Campana and Rio Mesa. It is not necessary to be the parent of a student who attends any of them. The term lasts two years and members receive no compensation. Requests are available at
www.oxnardunion.org.
For more information, contact Thomas McCoy, Superintendent of Schools at OUHSD at 805-385-2527 or email thomas.mccoy@oxnardunion.org
