Acceptable Use Policy

Dear OUHSD Families,

We are looking forward to a wonderful new school year! As you prepare to return to school, please take a moment to complete the attached document and bring it with you to school and turn into the office as soon as possible. This form is our Acceptable Use Policy and it must be completed each year in order for students to have access to district devices and programs.

This form is very important and is a requirement for all parents and students in every school district. The reason the AUP is so important is that school districts are mandated by the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA), a federal law, ensuring accessible Internet content at school is safe and appropriate. In order to maintain access to your StudentVue account and be able to login to devices on campus as well as our BYOD network, this form needs to be turned in no later than the end of day on August 31, 2018. If it is not turned in by that date, your account will be disabled until the form is turned in.
