After a slow start, Pacific High remained unbeaten with a 38-0 win over Hueneme on Friday, spoiling the Vikings’ homecoming night.
It was a homecoming of sorts for Pacifica quarterback Adan Salas, who quarterbacked the Vikings last season before becoming a Triton for his senior year.
Salas hugged his former teammates after the game.
“It was very stressful,” Salas said. “Honestly, deep down I wasn’t feeling it. … It was really hard facing my old team.”
