Holiday Canned Food Drive at The Collection

On Saturday, December 6th, ASB and Peer Resource students headed to The Collection, along with some teachers to setup and create a canned food Christmas scenery. About 7,000 cans were collected, but approximately 2,000 cans were used. Sixty to seventy-five students arrived at the location to help craft a Christmas tree made of cans, and a house made up of Cup of Noodles with a Ramen noodles roof top. The roof was made by packets of noodles stacked on top of each other, and was a fun team working build. Various radio stations such as B95.1 and others interviewed multiple students about what was going on, and what was donated. All the students and teachers had a great time, and afterwards they walked around The Collection to do interactive activities provided by the shopping center.
