Rio Mesa High School’s girls’ 200 medley relay team broke a school record during the Vetura County Swimming Championshop in Ventura on March 21 to takefirst place in the event. Those on the team are, from left, senior Abbey Brooks (backstroke), sophomore Crista Walters (breaststroke), sophomore Annabel Barella (butterfly) and junior Amanda Ozawa (freestyle). Derrick Timmons is the girls’ swim coach.
