Chamberlain has occupied the starting shortstop position all four seasons for the Scorpions.
A University of Houston commit, Chamberlain is a versatile slugger. She has a batting average of .444 with 18 runs, 16 hits and eight RBI.
“I’m starting to get nervous about leaving Camarillo and going to Houston,” Chamberlain said. “I’m not done here. I still have goals I want to accomplish.”
Chamberlain said she has improved as leader.
“When I was a freshman, I was very shy,” the shortstop said. “Now it’s my turn to be the leader and help the younger girls.”
Chamberlain’s family recently moved to Arizona. The senior shortstop is living with teammate Kellie Kooker until graduation.
