That’s how, one year after falling out of first place on the final day of the season, Oxnard High earned redemption Thursday night by winning its first league title since 2002.
“It’s special because of how tough it is and the teams have so much respect for each other,” Oxnard coach Eric Montijo said. “Winning this league means something.”
