MESA students brought home 16 medals during the annual MESA Day competitions at UCSB on Saturday. All medal winners will advance to the finals at Cal State Fresno on April 13 th. Eric Zuniga and Gerarado Zamora took 1st place in robotics, Rebecca Hernandez and Martin Hernandez took 2nd place in bridge building, Jeremy Pullido and Eirenel Eclevia took 2nd in Model Science, Alphonso Solis and Erick Esquiel took 2nd while Jeremy Pulido and Miguel Gonzalez took 3rd in balsa wood gliders, Jovanny Guillen took 1st in Pre Calc solo math, Ivan Covarrbias took 2nd place in Algebra II solo math, Flor Quinones took 1st and Cristal Maganes took 2nd in Geometry and Serina Alverez took a 2nd place in solo math. Way to “GO MESA STUDENTS”
