The Camarillo High girls’ basketball team will play the No. 1 team in the nation at home on Saturday night at 7.
Mater Dei of Santa Ana, the best team in the U.S. according to MaxPreps, USA Today and most other publications, visits the Scorpions in a highly anticipated non-league affair.
“It’s always good to see where you’re at,” said ACHS head coach Michaeltore Smith. “For our kids, it’s a wonderful opportunity. You rarely get the chance to play against a team that’s considered the best.”
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children. Fans can purchase a dinner, game entry and a raffle ticket for $15 from Scorpion players or through Camarillo’s ASB bookstore.
