Rio Mesa sweeps titles at Pacific View swim finals

The Pacific View League championship trophies sat on a table under the scorer’s tent at the Rio Mesa Aquatic Center just waiting to be won.In the end, the trophies were already at home.

The Rio Mesa boys and girls swim teams comfortably won titles at the Pacific View League meet Thursday afternoon.

The Rio Mesa boys came in first with 402 points for their 12th consecutive PVL title. The girls broke Camarillo’s three-year stranglehold on the title with 372 points.
