Justin Tobey
Justin was invited by the All-American Drum Majors Association to participate in the London Day Parade on New Year’s Day in London, England. This is his second year invitation that he was been invited to participate, and he attended last year as well. This invitation is based on performance and leadership skills that he has shown at the drum major camps that he attends during the summer. Being invited to participate in the London Day parade is a big deal. He will be wearing his Rio Mesa High School drum major uniform, representing Rio Mesa High School as well as the U.S.A. He leaves for London on December 26th and will return on January 2nd.

Justin also won first place for drum major last weekend at the Camarillo Christmas pararde, the marching band came in 3rd, and the color guards came in 2nd. The marching band came in 11th place out of 12 at championships, but the kids were really excited to be able to make it to championships since this was the first time in the last 5 years.
