The Rio Mesa High boys swimming team has a streak that just keeps going.

The Spartans have won 80 consecutive Pacific View League dual meets, starting 11 years ago when coach Keith McKnett’s team started competing in the league.

“This might be the best swim team I’ve ever had,” McKnett said of the current squad. “We are good in relays and have depth.”

The boys and girls were both 4-1 overall and 2-0 in league before Friday’s home meet against Pacifica High.
