The Oxnard Union High School District is looking for a parent to fill a vacancy on its citizen bond oversight committee.

The Measure H bond issue was passed by district voters in November 2004 to build two high schools and renovate existing campuses.

Applicants for the oversight committee must have a child at one of the district’s high schools: Camarillo, Channel Islands, Frontier, Hueneme, Oxnard, Pacifica or Rio Mesa.

The committee typically meets the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the district’s Hueneme Room, 220 South K St. in Oxnard.

Contact Assistant Superintendent Randy Winton at 385-2529 or randy.winton@ouhsd.k12.ca.us for more information.
