Competitive balance has not been a term associated with Pacific View League girls basketball in recent years.Typically there has been one team that emerges as the clear-cut favorite to capture the title.
But this season could be the most contentious in the league’s history with Camarillo, Rio Mesa and Pacifica preparing to jostle for the top spot.
“There is definitely more parity across the board in our league,” Camarillo head coach Michaeltore Smith said. “It is going to be a real battle this year for supremacy. It makes it a lot more fun and exciting because every game is more meaningful.”
