Led by Drumline Director Danny Pena, the Oxnard High School Winter Drumline rolled on home by claiming First Place in their division with a score of 83.65 at the first American Drumline Association (ADLA) drumline competition held at Golden Valley High School in Santa Clarita on Saturday, March 24, 2012. This honor elevated the drumline to the Scholastic A Division.

Each adorned in electric lights, the members of the Drumline took the stage at Golden Valley, and turned the ordinary into the extraordinary in this TRON-esque interpretation of “life in a digital world”.

After just one week of being elevated to a higher division, the OHS Drumline claimed the Second Place spot with a score of 79.55 at their second competition of the season at Velancia High School on March 31, 2012.

The OHS Drumline’s next competition is scheduled for Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Costa Mesa High School located at 2650 Fairview Road. Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
