“The marching band students share camaraderie and sense of purpose that most other students can only imagine. Our students make friends and build relationships that last a life time! Marching band is not just extra-curricular activity, but a positively life changing experience. The personal growth and leadership skills these kids develop from this experience are tremendous” says Band Director Fundi Legohn who kicks off his 21st marching band season with Oxnard High School this year. “It is through fundraisers like this and the ongoing generous support of our community and local businesses that the OHS Band Boosters are able to raise funds to support the OHS instrumental music programs. Without this support, it would be impossible for our band provide the quality music program we all enjoy and that enriches the high school and members of community”.
