Fourteen students traveled to Paris to participate in the International Model United Nations competition. It was held over 3 days where the students debated world issues in the UNESCO building against other students from 35 countries that ranged from England to israel. Our students served as the ambassadors from Afghanistan, Austria, and Norway and argued problems and solutions to their committee’s particular problems from the point of view of these governments. Danny Graff, Becky Mayper, James Gatchell, Zach Valladon, and Jean-Luc Chamaa were awarded speaking awards for their work in their respective committees. Paricipating students were Erin Carey, Nicole Guisti, Megan Friedlander, James Gatchell, Becky Mayper, Madison White, Leah Ramsaier, Caitlin Pirruccello, Tony Winter, Erin Skobliek, Zach Valladon, Avery Rogers, and Jean-Luc Chamaa.
