Camarillo Boy’s Varsity Baseball Team progressed to CIF after their win against Channel Islands. On Thursday, May 12, Camarillo boy’s baseball team challenged their opponents at Channel Islands’ home field and left with a win of 11 to 2. Although the teams were tied for the first three innings, Cam progressed quickly, only allowing 2 runs overall by their opponents.

This game just was one of the many who allowed top players to stand out and show their skills. Just a few of these players include Taylor Hansen, senior, Kenny Overly, also a senior, and Hunter Virant , junior, who lead the team in top batting averages. In other areas, such as pitching, Hansen and Virant appear once again, helping their team achieve their goals and progress to CIF.

Friday, May 20, Cam will have another game at 3:15 and students are encouraged to come and root for their team.
