The talented musicians and singers of Channel Islands gathered at Oxnard College to perform in the Winter Concert presented by Channel Islands High School Music Department. Channel Islands’ musical talent is not just limited to the marching band, it’s full of unique musicians and groups like “Mariachi Las Islas”, the school’s Mariachi band. The collective group performed Christmas classics and lesser known songs all for a great cause. Proceeds for the concert were given to local charities, as well as toys that were donated for the price of admission.The Winter Concert was a win-win situation for the audience which was treated to wonderful music and for the local charities that were benefited by event.
