After three weeks of the 2011 high school football season, here’s what we know about Pacifica High — the Tritons can score a lot of points and can put them up very quickly.

Sparked by the running of tailback Dennis Taylor and quarterback Nick Davis, Pacifica topped the 60-point barrier for the second straight week with a 64-39 victory over Santa Paula on Friday night at Ventura College.

Taylor wasted little time, scoring barely six minutes into the game on a 45-yard run. He went on to amass 305 yards on the ground on 20 carries as Pacifica improved to 2-1 heading into its bye week.

In addition to his first-quarter score, Taylor added three other scores — one on a 50-yard burst in the second quarter. …
