The Oxnard Union High School District is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on its Measure H Citizens Bond Oversight Committee.
Measure H was passed by OUHSD voters in November 2004. It authorized the district to issue up to $135 million in general obligation bonds to build two new high schools, including one in Camarillo, and renovate existing campuses.
The only requirement to fill the current vacant seat on the Bond Oversight Committee is to have a son or daughter enrolled in one of OUHSD’s schools: Camarillo, Channel Islands, Frontier, Hueneme, Oxnard, Pacifica and Rio Mesa.
The committee meets the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in OUHSD’s Hueneme Room, 220 South K Street in Oxnard.
For more information, call Randy Winton, OUHSD Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, at 385-2529 or email him at randy.winton@ouhsd.k12.ca.us.
