Kevin Kenji Yoshimoto, right, a 16-year-old junior at Adolfo Camarillo High School, was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout during an Oct. 1 ceremony at Camarillo Grove Park. Kevin helped renovate the hiking area of the Park for his Eagle project. To do so, the teen planned and installed 24 plant identification signs, six redwood benches, six trail markers and a map kiosk. Kevin led a group of more than 30 Scouts and friends to complete the project. Kevin is a member of Troop 262.
