The Raiders (2-0) rode running back Richard Gray all the way to their second win in as many weeks as the junior pounded out 233 yards on 23 carries, including a 53-yard touchdown scamper in third quarter for the final score of the game.
“We started off slow but we have a good team this year, a lot better than last year,” said Gray, who rushed for 132 yards on 19 carries in a Week 1 victory over Santa Barbara. “Our team is well-conditioned and they start a lot of guys on both sides of the ball. So we knew if we kept after them they would tire.”
