Lariviere is a multipurpose standout on the pitch, starring at both forward and defender.
She was one of seven incoming freshmen to sign with Pepperdine last week.
“I chose Pepperdine because the coaches and girls are awesome,” Lariviere said. “The campus is close to my home and the beach. I will get a great education and play high-quality soccer. It is a perfect fit.”
Lariviere sat out her junior season at ACHS with an injury and competed with the Olympic Development Program as a high school senior.
Pepperdine head coach Tim Ward is impressed with Lariviere’s toughness and tenacity.
“Bri is a Wave through and through,” Ward said. “She has endured some adversity with her health this last year, but we have no doubt that her perseverance will be honored throughout her career at Pepperdine.
“She is incredibly gifted, and her versatility makes her a weapon all over the field. She can play anywhere in the back and anywhere up front, so we are really excited about her arrival.”
