The Camarillo High boys’ basketball team earned its first Pacific View League victory of the season Wednesday night at Channel Islands, a 74-40 thumping of the struggling Raiders.

With the win, the Scorpions improved to 11-7 overall and 1-1 in the PVL. ACHS plays host to Pacifica tonight at 7.

Rio Mesa (12-6, 2-0) and Pacifica (8-9, 2-0) are tied for first place in league.

The Spartans beat Oxnard on Wednesday and travel to Channel Islands tonight at 7.
