On Monday, Camarillo junior Sarah Shadinger was named the CIF-SS Division 2 Player of the Year and Camarillo head coach Jack Willard was named Coach of the Year.
Oaks Christian senior Kiana Quolas was named CIF-SS Division 3 Player of the Year and Oaks Christian head coach Pete Ackermann was named Coach of the Year.
The quartet highlighted an area contingent of 31 softball, baseball and boys volleyball players and two coaches who earned All-CIF-SS honors for the spring season.
In softball, Thousand Oaks senior Paris Shipp and Simi Valley junior Jennifer Soria were first-team selections in Division 1. Camarillo junior Shelbie Franc and Oxnard senior Demi Meza were first-team Division 2 selections. Oak Park junior Christie Langlois and Oaks Christian junior Hanah Roberg were first-team Division 3 selections. Santa Clara senior Heaven Silveira was a first-team selection in Division 6.
In baseball, Westlake freshman Luke Dykstra, Newbury Park junior Luke Eubank and Simi Valley junior Cody Ramer were first-team selections in Division 1. Moorpark’s Matt Higginbotham, Newbury Park’s Danny Keller, SImi Valley’s Nick Vigo and Westlake’s Alex Daley were second-team selections.
Buena’s Corey Dodge and Drew Jacobs were second-team Division 2 selections.
Oaks Christian seniors Evan Ocello and Travis Radke were first-team selections in Division 4. Nordhoff’s Tim LeSuer, Oaks Christian’s Drew Hacker and St. Bonaventure’s Jordan Harris were second-team selections.
Villanova senior Jon Woodcock was a first-team Division 6 selection while Santa Paula’s Justin Macias and Villanova’s Josh Stockton were second-team selections.
In boys volleyball, Thousand Oaks senior Austin Kingi, Westlake senior Traivs Magorien and Ventura senior Michael Henchy were first-team Division 1 selections. Oak Park’s Bradley Sakaida was a first-team selection in Division 2 and Camarillo senior Jesse Flitt was a first-team selection in Division 3.
