Our Farm to School Program is designed for the students, by our students. Our mission is to ensure that students have access to good quality, fresh, and locally grown produce each day.
Our program collects feedback through surveys, taste testing events, and social media that Nutrition Services uses to plan the school menu. Our program promotes health and wellness on campus through events and awareness campaigns and creates and maintains school gardens that provide fruits and vegetables for the cafeterias.
We are always searching for more partners in our community to support this vital program for our students. We need to raise funds to support our farm field trips and growing school gardens. We also welcome donations of supplies and friends, family, and neighbors who would like to volunteer.
