Wellness & Inclusion
September is National Suicide Prevention Month
The Oxnard Union High School District strives to ensure that every student receives access to social emotional education and support. The OUHSD Wellness Program offers a variety of services and resources in a healthy teaching and learning environment that celebrates and promotes trusting relationships.
At the district and school-site level, Wellness and Inclusion integrates health and wellness policies, programs, and practices in collaboration with community resources and families for a unified and collaborative approach to support the academic and personal well-being of every student. Our Wellness Centers are designed to integrate individualized services from a variety of sources and organizations, seeking to unify care coordination and service provision through one centralized program and location, a "one-stop shop" for wraparound services.
Wellness and Inclusion coordinates the Educational Partner Committees. These committees are renewed each school year to provide parents/caregivers, district staff, and community members a space to meet and collaborate towards building powerful futures for every student.
