Need To Do An Inter Or Intra District Transfer?
Inter-district Transfer
(To apply for a transfer District to District)
Inter-district Transfer Application
This application form must be submitted first to your district of residence for approval. Then, submit the completed InterDistrict Transfer Agreement form with any document requested to support each reason. Also, you must include a copy of the most current transcript (High school transcripts can be unofficial but MUST include ALL earned credits) and/or a report card, no exceptions.
All applications for the current or the 2025-2026 school year can be e-mailed to student.services@oxnardunion.
Please ensure that the InterDistrict Transfer Agreement application is complete and be sure to include a current email address on the form. To prevent delays, include all documentation to support the request for transfer. Information detailing reasons for request and required documentation can be found on the back of the InterDistrict Transfer Agreement Form.
Intra-District Transfer
Parents or guardians whose child lives in the District boundaries and who want their child to attend a school other than their home school, shall complete an electronic IntraDistrict Application and submit it online beginning November 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025 to be considered “on-time”. You will receive a response via email at the end of April 2025.
Schools may continue to accept students until they are filled to capacity. If there are more applicants than there are available spots for interested students, the district will review each application on a case by case basis and or/will be placed on a waitlist. There are no guarantees to a transfer.
Students should plan to attend their school of residence. If you have an extenuating circumstance, please contact our Student Support Services team via e-mail at student.services@
Transportation: Parents and students participating in an IntraDistrict School choice will assume responsibility of transportation for your student to and from school.
2025-2026 Online intra-District application
All submissions must include: A current email address * Supporting documentation for your reason for a transfer * If a student has a current 504 plan, or IEP in place, a fully executed copy of the documentation is required to be submitted with the application.
Please note that an incomplete application will not be processed
Please understand that the information provided is subject to verification and that the mere act of completing this application and providing all the required documentation does not guarantee that the request will be approved.
Any application received after the deadline of February 28, 2025 will receive notice after a capacity study. Once a decision on your application has been made you will be notified by email with the next steps in the process from Student Support Services.
Once again, students should plan to enroll and attend their school of residence until you hear from Student Support Services.
