Education & Social Services
Create a Brighter Future
The Education & Social Services Pathway provides students with the necessary skills and guidance needed to launch a career in education and social services. Students will learn some of the fundamental roles they would experience in the field – such as counseling, supporting students’ needs in the classroom, and providing social services to students and their families. This pathway offers strategies for nurturing children to become healthy, secure, and productive members of their community. Guidance and socialization strategies are presented, as well as child-rearing techniques that parents, educators, and other professionals can put to immediate use. This integrated, immersive and work-based learning gives students a hands-on experience with practices used in the educational field today.
Career Pathways help students explore their talents and use their experiences in the classroom to select a career path that they’re passionate about.
