Academy of Engineering & Design
Your Dream Job Closer Than Ever
In the Academy of Engineering & Design, students gain a strong understanding of principles of engineering, computer-integrated manufacturing, and research and development. Students will take four classes and participate in cross-curricular projects in each grade level. They’ll learn to work together to find solutions that are contemporary and appropriate in today’s high-tech engineering environment. The Academy of Engineering & Design not only prepares students for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)-related college majors, but also for their careers. This integrated, immersive, multi-year sequence of career guidance, coursework, and work-based learning provides students with knowledge and experience for a competitive advantage in an engineering career.
Academies help students explore their talents and use their experiences in the classroom to select a career path they’re passionate about.
