Marine Science Academy
Dive Into a Career
The Marine Science Academy, including disciplines such as marine biology, environmental science, and ocean exploration, gets students ready to attend college and prepares them for future careers. Students learn field research protocols, how to build and operate ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles), and how to get certified in and use GIS (Geographic Information System). Students take a large number of science courses to prepare them for the rigors of college and the demands of future careers. This career pathway helps students by providing guidance, coursework, and work-based learning experiences used in the field today.
