Education Career Technical  Education Pathway

Create a Brighter Future

The Education & Social Services Pathway gives students the necessary skills and guidance needed to start an educational career. Students will learn some of the fundamental roles of life in education – such as mentoring, supporting students’ needs in the classroom, and teaching to academic standards. Students will study child development and investigate the different teaching styles that students respond to. Students will have the opportunity to receive certifications which may include CPR/First Aid Certification, Babysitting and Child Care Certification. This multi-year program with coursework and first-hand experience will benefit students by exposing them to the rewarding career that is education. 

Career Pathways help students explore their talents and use their experiences in the classroom to select a career path that they’re passionate about.

Prepare in the Classroom

Build a strong foundation with A-G approved courses and prepare yourself for an exciting new educational career. Classes include:

  • Developmental Psychology Child Development
  • Programs for Young Children (H)

Get Real
Exposure

Take what you learned out into the real world and see first-hand what awaits you in the field of education. Hands-on, in-depth immersive experiences may include:

  • Industry-Based (Lab Schools)
  • Guest Speakers
  • Workplace Tours
  • Certifications
