OUHSD Transportation Department’s top priority is safety for our district’s students.

The Oxnard Union High School District transportation policy is based on the philosophy that the bus ride is an extension of the school day. To ensure the safety of each passenger, it is the responsibility of all students to be aware and comply with all the established bus safety procedures. Transportation is a privilege, and not a right. If this privilege is abused, students run the risk of losing their district-provided transportation. Transportation will only be provided to students who attend their home school. Intra district transfers do not qualify for transportation.

All of our bus drivers possess a Commercial Drivers License and pass the State Bus Driver certification. We are proud of our safety record as we continue to provide the highest quality transportation service.
