Measure E

Measure E will authorize $285 Million Dollars to continue the construction, modernization and repair of Oxnard Union facilities

Measure E will not increase the tax rate, it is a tax rate extension of the estimated 2024-2025 rate for all District Bonds

The 2024 2025 combined tax rate for all District bonds are estimated at $47.69 per $100,000 in property value through 2047

When interest rates improve, the District will refinance at better rates and pass the savings on to taxpayers

All Measure E dollars must be spent to improve our school facilities, the money cannot be spent on salaries

The State of California provides school districts funding for Teachers and other personnel as well as books and materials, and basic building maintenance, there is no annual state funding source for modernizing and constructing school facilities.

Major construction, modernization, and repair projects have been identified by staff and are authorized by the Board of Trustees

An independent Citizens Oversight Committee (CoC) will be established to provide accountability for Measure E funds
