Weatherstem Stations Now Installed at All Comprehensive High Schools

The Oxnard Union High School District is proud to announce that every comprehensive high school in our district is now equipped with a Weatherstem station. These advanced systems provide real-time weather tracking and live campus views, helping school staff make informed decisions about outdoor events and activities.

Weatherstem monitors a variety of conditions, including heat, UV levels, lightning, and air quality, including during wildfire conditions. This allows campuses to respond quickly if smoke or hazardous air affects the school environment.

By integrating this technology, our schools can better protect students and staff, ensuring safety and preparedness whenever weather or air quality concerns arise.
