Community Eligibility Provision Information
We are pleased to inform you that Oxnard High School, Pacifica High School, Hueneme High School, Channel Islands High School, Rio Mesa High School, Frontier High School, and Condor High School will be implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2018-2019 School Year. Schools that participate in the CEP, provide healthy breakfast and lunch each day at no charge for all students enrolled during the 2018-2019 School Year. No further action is required of you for your child to receive free meals. There will be a charge if your student takes an extra serving or purchases an a la cart item.
New this year are the Household Income Forms. We ask that all families with students at the above listed schools complete a Household Income Form for School Programs Funding. This form has important benefits and completing it may result in valuable resources. Schools in the District use these funds for things such as:
- Before and after school academic and enrichment programs
- Teachers to reduce class sizes
- Guidance and College Counselors
- Health and wellness services
- Fee waivers for college applications and admissions tests, and more
The form can be completed online at https://oxnarduhsd.rocketscanapps.com
If you prefer a paper application, Household Income Forms are available at your school site office and Nutrition Services office.
Every eligible form not submitted means lost resources for our school.
