Camarillo High School recognized four outstanding students at our board meeting: Annika Horton, Gilberto Reyes, and Melony Davalos.

Annika Horton is an outstanding senior English student and a talented writer. She is currently working on publishing her first novel, and her poetry consistently inspires her classmates. Despite facing personal challenges, Annika has emerged as a role model for her younger sister and classmates. Her insight, determination, and strong work ethic are evident in everything she pursues, making her a remarkable student and leader.

Gilberto Reyes, a dedicated two-year AVID student, is a first-generation high school and college-bound scholar. He serves as a cross-age tutor for AVID freshmen, providing academic support, mentorship, and guidance as they navigate the challenges of high school. His leadership and commitment to helping others succeed exemplify the values of the AVID program and the district's commitment to academic excellence.

Melony Davalos is an exceptional student who excels both academically and in extracurricular activities. She is an active Wellness Peer and a dedicated member of Civic Leaders of America (CLA) and Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Her approachable and genuine nature makes her a respected leader among her peers. Despite life’s challenges, Melony remains focused on her future, demonstrating resilience, determination, and an unwavering commitment to success.
