Student Support Services


The Student Services & Interventions Division works with parents and students to provide programs in the district which result in completion of a high school diploma, GED or CHSPE. Alternative programs include Frontier Continuation School, High School Equivalency Program (HSEP), CHSPE Boot Camp, Cal-SAFE Teen Parenting program, Opportunity Class and the Independent Study Program located near Oxnard College. Student Services will meet with parents of students who have dropped out of school to provide options for re-entry to secondary education.

The Student Services & Interventions Division processes expulsion recommendations from school sites. Student Services & Interventions Division is available to assist parents and students with concerns regarding discipline, attendance and academic progress.

The Student Services & Interventions Division is also responsible for processing Intra-District and Inter-District transfer requests.

Mission Statement

The Student Services and Interventions Division is dedicated to helping all students succeed by providing effective interventions, parent support, equal access, efficient allocation of resources, site support, community partnerships, and campus safety.

Vision Statement

The vision of Student Services and Interventions is for all students to graduate or complete the equivalency prepared to pursue a career or college education as productive members of society, as a result, in part, of the services provided by this division.
